Fine arts month may have concluded, but our fine arts teachers continue to inspire our students. Today we highlight Ms. Alexandria Groneman. Ms. Groneman has been teaching instrumental music for seven years, all of them here at Fairfield. She loves to swim, read, and play games with her family. She also has an energetic toddler who loves to go to the park and ride her bike. Ms. Groneman is looking forward to making great music with great students and is energized by her students' excitement and passion for learning. We are so fortunate to have Ms. Groneman at Fairfield!

See you tonight at Chick-fil-A!

As Fine Arts Month wraps up, we continue highlighting our amazing fine arts teachers. Mr. Jay Nolan teaches a wide variet of visual arts classes at Fairfield Junior High. He has been teaching for 28 years, with 26 of those years being here at Fairfield. Mr. Nolan loves exploring the great outdoors and discovering the beauty of nature while hiking. He also loves to travel the world and immerse himself in new cultures, flavors, and traditions. Something that ignites his passion for teaching is seeing students get excited as they dive into an art project--pushing their creativity, taking risks, and creating something truly meaningful and unique. We are truly fortunate to have Mr. Nolan as part of the Fairfield family!

October is Fine Arts month, and as the month wraps up, we'd like to highlight some of our amazing fine arts teachers at Fairfield Jr. High, starting with Mr. Steven Farr, our orchestra teacher. Mr. Farr is in his second year with us at Fairfield. He enjoys playing music, playing and watching sports, reading, and being outdoors. Seeing students grow in their confidence and seeing them have fun making music together are things Mr. Farr loves about teaching. He is looking forward to this year's upcoming orchestra concerts, and to taking students to see a Utah Symphony rehearsal later this year. We are so grateful for the work Mr. Farr does to inspire young musicians at Fairfield!

Save the date! Come enjoy Chick-fil-A and help us earn funds for teacher appreciation, student events, Kindness Week, and more!

She enjoys photography, scrapbooking, reading, attending Ballet West, and spending time with her daughter and granddaughter. She loves getting to know her students and sharing history and English content with them. We are so glad to have Ms. Pierce here at Fairfield Junior High with us!

See you tomorrow! Come enjoy a sweet treat with your student before school.

As we approach the end of National Literacy Month, we spotlight Ms. Katlyn Treasure, who has been a part of our Fairfield English Department for four years, and has been teaching for five. Ms. Treasure loves to read, write, crochet, and watch her favorite shows. One of her favorite things about teaching is connecting with students, and hearing from them during discussions. As this school year unfolds, she is looking forward to working with lots of new people. We are indeed fortunate to have Ms. Treasure at our school.
