This is my 10th year with Fairfield's counseling department. My favorite part about being a counselor is getting to know the students and helping them learn that they can do hard things at school and outside of school. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family, working out, and getting crafty.

2023-23 will be my 5th year at Fairfield Jr. High and my 7th year as a School Counselor. Prior to school counseling I worked as a social worker and ran a private preschool.
I love working with Jr. High Students! My favorite part about school counseling is helping students through hard times and watching them grow.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy being with my family. We love to camp, hike, ride our ATVs and kayak. I also enjoy gardening and traveling.

Since 2019, I’ve enjoyed working with our Fairfield Counseling team, staff and administrators! As a more ‘mature’ (aka, older) counselor, I enjoy working with students and families and hope that I can share some of the things that I’ve learned via my education and my experiences with my own children and now grandchildren. Junior High is a great time of discovery! I love working with students and sharing the many opportunities and resources available to them.
In my time outside of school, you might see my husband and I riding our e-bikes, skiing, paddleboarding or just walking around our neighborhood. I also enjoy reading, learning/trying new things and being creative.
